Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly prepared to approve a move to Arsenal if the Turkish club agrees to a suitable transfer fee.
The Nigerian forward has been linked with a move to Arsenal, with the Premier League champions looking to strengthen their attacking options this summer.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is keen to sign a new striker following Viktor Gyokeres’ inconsistent first season and the expected departure of Gabriel Jesus.
The Gunners had earlier shown interest in Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez, but the Spanish club has rejected several offers for the Argentine.
Talk of a potential move for Osimhen gained momentum after Galatasaray opened discussions with Arsenal over possible deals involving Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri.
However, Galatasaray are currently reluctant to approve Osimhen’s departure, meaning any transfer to Arsenal would depend on the Turkish champions agreeing to the proposed terms.
