Travellers and workers are stuck on the Giri part of the Abuja-Lokoja Highway because of a big traffic jam.This is happening because the road is being repaired.
Many cars have stopped moving, and a long line of big trucks is stuck on the highway.
Drivers going from Lokoja to Abuja, or leaving the capital city centre, might want to take the Kuje route instead to avoid the traffic.
Soldiers are there helping to manage the traffic, but the problem is still very bad.
