VIDEO: TINUBU ARRIVES LAGOS FOR END-OF-YEAR HOLIDAYS AFTER BORNO, BAUCHI VISITS

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to spend the end-of-year holidays after completing official visits to Borno and Bauchi states.
The President was received at the presidential wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, top government officials and leaders of the All Progressives Congress.
Hotjist had earlier reported that Tinubu departed Abuja on Saturday on a three-state tour.
During his visit to Borno State, the President commissioned projects executed by the Babagana Zulum-led state government in collaboration with the Federal Government.
While in Maiduguri, Tinubu also attended the wedding ceremony of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno State Governor and Senator, Ali Modu Sheriff, and his bride, Hadiza Kam Salem.
From Borno, the President proceeded to Bauchi State, where he paid a condolence visit to the state government and the family of the late Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, the renowned Islamic cleric and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood, who died on November 27.
Following the condolence visit, Tinubu arrived in Lagos, where he is expected to participate in a number of engagements during the holiday period.
Among the activities lined up, the President is scheduled to attend the Eyo Festival on December 27 as Guest of Honour.
The festival, slated to hold at Tafawa Balewa Square, will honour notable personalities, including the President’s late mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, as well as late former Lagos State Governors, Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Michael Otedola.
