VIDEO: YOUTHS STAGE ANTI-GOVERNMENT PROTEST IN PORT HARCOURT, CALL FOR TINUBU’S EXIT

Some residents of Port Harcourt in Rivers State staged a protest on Friday calling for the resignation of President Bola Tinubu.

The demonstrators, mostly youths, also urged eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a video circulating online, the protesters were heard chanting: “Get your voter cards, Tinubu must go.”

The media reports that protests were held in several parts of the country on Friday as Nigerians marked the 2026 June 12 Democracy Day.

Human rights lawyer Femi Falana, activist Omoyele Sowore, and some celebrities also led the EndBadGovernance protests in Lagos and Abuja respectively.
