WIZKID TO HEADLINE 2026 DETTY DECEMBER FEST IN LAGOS

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, will headline the opening night of the 2026 Detty December Fest in Lagos.
The festival organisers, Livespot360, announced the development in a post on their official Instagram page on Thursday.
According to the organisers, the festival will run from December 18 to 30, featuring 13 days of music, culture and creativity across two stages.
Wizkid is scheduled to headline the opening concert on Friday, December 18, at 6 p.m. at the Detty December Village in Lagos.
“The countdown to December begins. Wizkid headlines the opening night of Detty December Fest 2026,” the organisers announced.
Describing the concert as the official opening of the Detty December season, the organisers urged music lovers to attend the event, which they said would bring together entertainment, culture and creativity.
Meanwhile, ticket prices for the opening concert range from N50,000 to N300,000, depending on the category.
General Access tickets cost N50,000, while Golden Circle tickets are priced at N150,000. VIP Standing tickets cost N300,000, while tables are available through the event’s concierge.
The General Access ticket provides entry into the festival, including access to music performances, food courts and the marketplace.
Golden Circle ticket holders will enjoy similar access, with the additional benefit of being positioned closer to the stage, while VIP Standing ticket holders will have access to a dedicated standing area close to the bars.
The organisers said the 13-day festival would serve as a major destination for music, culture and creativity throughout the December festive season, with partnership and hospitality opportunities also available.
