YEMI SOLADE REVEALS HE WAS PAID TO PRETEND TO BE DISABLED IN CHURCH MIRACLE

Veteran Nollywood actor, Yemi Solade, has revealed that he was once paid to pretend to have a physical disability during a staged miracle service at a church.
Solade made the disclosure during an interview with Feel Right News TV, monitored by the media on Wednesday.
Recounting the incident, the actor said it occurred when he was still a student and had not yet gained recognition in the Nigerian film industry.
According to him, he was recruited to act as a cripple during the church service and was paid for his participation.
Solade said he spent the money he received from the staged performance on drinks.
He said, “I have been used for a miracle then, when I was not popular. I acted as a cripple, they paid, I used the money to drink, then I was a student.”
The actor explained that the incident happened during the early stages of his life, before he became a well-known figure in Nollywood.
However, Solade declined to reveal the identities of those who allegedly organised the staged miracle, saying the individuals involved are still alive.
“The people involved are still alive; I just don’t want to mention names,” he said.
His revelation has sparked renewed attention on the issue of staged miracles and allegations that individuals are sometimes recruited to create the impression of supernatural healings during religious services.
Solade’s account offers a personal recollection of his alleged involvement in such an incident as a young student, years before his acting career earned him widespread recognition.
