Kannywood actress Hadiza Gabon has been named best supporting actress at the African film awards held in London.
Hadiza who was born Hadiza Aliyu also answers to the name Adizatou.
She had starrred in several Kannywood movies including Wasila and also runs a foundation for indigent children.
She had also won an award for her role in the Kannywood blockbuster movie “Ali Ya ga Ali”
In 2013 she was named 2013 Best of Nollywood Awards “best Hausa actress” while in 2014 she won Kannywood MTN award for best actress jury choice
