The National Coordinator APGA Media Warriors Forum, Evang Chinedu Obigwe has faulted the statement credited to Governor Rochas Okorocha, that Arch Bishop Anthony Obinna cannot install a governor of APGA extraction in 2019, noting that one million Rochas cannot stop APGA from taking over Imo in the forthcoming election. Okorocha- Obinna In a press release issued to newsmen in Awka, Obigwe said that Rochas has no right to exchange words with an ordained man of God, noting that his statements against Bishop Obinna is a desecration of religious institution meant to be respected. Recall that Rachas had alleged that Bishop Obinna reportedly made a statement against his administration which he (Rochas) considered as blackmail against his person and APC led Federal government administration. In his words, “Of all the allegations the Archbishop made against the governor, the most unfortunate was the one he said that Governor Okorocha is the only voice which everyone has to listen to and obey, otherwise, arrests and imprisonments would follow. This is the height of blackmail”. Rochas Okorocha and Uche Nwosu In view of the above statement therefore, the National Coordinator APGA Media Warrior, described Rochas as a man that has turned Imo state to an object of ridicule and laughing stock in Nigeria. He advised him never to exchange words with Arch Bishop Obinna again. Speaking further, Obigwe described Bishop Obinna as a worthy Father who speaks out against the atrocities of Rochas Okorocha in imo State. In his advice, Obigwe asked Rochas Okorocha to prepare his handover note, saying that no reasonable electorate in Imo State will vote for his anointed son in-law, Uche Nwosu, in the 2019 general election. He finally charged Imolites to rally round APGA for the salvation of the State, noting that the job of rescuing Imo state from its current administration is a patriotic task that must be accomplished for the betterment of Igbo land.
