BREAKING: THUGS ATTACK LAGOS PDP GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE (JANDOR) IN BADAGRY – VIDEOS AND PICTURES

Miscreants suspected to be political thugs have attacked the convoy of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Lagos State, Olajide Abdul-Azeez Adediran (Jandor).
The incident which occurred at about 6.42pm at the Mowo Junction in Badagry Town of the state, left several persons injured.
Hotjist correspondent who was on the campaign team gives an account of the incident, “as we approached Mowo Junction, the thugs appeared from nowhere and started hurling heavy stones at our vehicles”.
Police escorts attached to the candidate shot severally into the air to scare away the attackers and restore some normalcy.
All windscreens and glasses of the vehicles were completely damaged.
After the attack had subsided, injured persons were immediately rushed to an undisclosed hospital in Badagry for treatment.
However, both Adediran and his running mate, Funke Akindele were unhurt in the attack.
As at writing this report, the injured persons are still at the Badagry General Hospital receiving treatment.
The incident occurred while the campaign train were returning from a visitation to members of the party at Ikoga Junction area of Badagry Local Government by suspected thugs.
Recall that Jandor Campaign Team began a tour of the 245 wards in the state and the programme started in Alimosho area of the state on Wednesday.
