INEC DECLARES APC’S UMAR NAMADI JIGAWA STATE GOVERNOR-ELECT
The Independent National Electoral Commision (INEC) has declared All Progressive Congress’ Candidate in Jigawa State, Umar Namadi, as the winner of the March 18 governorship election in the state.
Namadi emerged winner with a total of 618,449 votes to defeat Mustapha Lamido of the People Democratic Party (PDP).
Namdi won in 26 of the 27 local government areas in state.
Aminu Ibrahim of the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP) came a distant third with 37,156.
