In a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Department of State Services (DSS), Peter Afunanya; he confirmed that “Mr Godwin Emefiele, the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is now in its custody for some investigative reasons.”
Unconfirmed reports say Emefiele was arrested in Lagos in the middle of the night as he trying to make his way out of Lagos through the land borders.
