POLICEMAN ABDUCTED IN PLATEAU FOUND DEAD

The mobile police officer has been discovered dead. He was kidnapped in the Kampani community in the Bashar District of the Wase local government area in Plateau State.
The policeman was attacked and taken away as he was allegedly combating robbers in the region as part of a security unit.
Another member of the team, a soldier, escaped the assault.

The abduction and subsequent murder of the policeman are the latest in a string of attacks by bandits in the Wase local government region.
The police command is yet to react to the development as of the time the report was filed.
