The outcry against Nollywood films on YouTube, particularly the Yoruba film, prompted Debbie Shokoya to grieve.
The new mother voiced her disapproval of those who made movies purely for the purpose of making them on Instagram. She bemoaned how frequently the genre of Youruba films is criticized and explained how she was able to verify the allegations.

Debbie Shokoya’s first pregnancy ended at eight months in 2023.

After this, Debbie talked candidly about her pregnancy experience, saying that although she initially believed she was losing, God had the best plan for her.
She recounted how God transformed her elevated prolactin levels into pregnancy.
Shee also talked about how the devil attempted to use her trauma against her, but God supported her and gave her more blessings than she could express.
