The Grammy-winning Nigerian musician Mr. May D has asserted that if he hadn’t had a falling out with his previous record label, Square Records, Wizkid, would not have been on the same level as him.
He made the assertion lately after a contentious discussion with Wizkid supporters on X.
“If no be wetin happen between me and Psquare, who be Wiz [Wizkid]? Chai,” he wrote.
May D said that after he uploaded a post complimenting Davido, Wizkid followers began to harass him.
“Because I spoke about David, Wizkid boys are attacking me Lmao even wiz know I love him, but if y’all come for me I’ll finish all of you and your oga,” he said.
“Even your Wizkid knows his limits! Don’t f*ck with me.”
