NOLLYWOOD ACTRESS IYABO OJO SLAMS VERYDARKMAN OVER ALLEGED APOLOGY DEAL CLAIM

Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo has strongly refuted social media activist Verydarkman’s claims that she reneged on an agreement to publicly apologise to Naira Marley and Sam Larry.
Verydarkman alleged the agreement was made during a roundtable meeting at the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre, attended by Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and their respective legal teams.
In her response, Iyabo Ojo branded Verydarkman’s statements as manipulative and dishonest, describing him as both cunning and deceitful.
Iyabo Ojo has defended her decision to speak out against Naira Marley and Sam Larry, insisting she had valid reasons to believe in their alleged involvement in the death of the late singer Mohbad.

The actress and mother of two pointed to unsettling videos and online reports that surfaced after Mohbad’s passing. These included footage showing Sam Larry allegedly mocking the late singer and engaging in physical assault—evidence she said made the bullying accusations credible.
Addressing social media activist Verydarkman, Iyabo said:
“Verydarkman, I saw your video, and I know exactly why you made it. I’m sure the NCCC has informed you about my petition, so you’ve resorted to your usual manipulative tactics.
“I am a wise woman. I know when to fight, when to listen, and when to speak unlike you, who talks from both sides of the mouth. People need to stop taking you seriously.
“I was invited by the NCCC. I was actually on my way to Tanzania for my daughter Priscilla’s wedding when I received the letter. I’ve never even met Naira Marley—I only promoted his music on my platform.
“But I saw a video of Naira Marley dancing after Mohbad’s death, and it made me angry.
“I also saw Sam Larry’s video where he harassed Zlatan Ibile and Mohbad. That’s when I started to believe the bullying claims. As a concerned citizen and mother, I used my platforms to speak up,” she said.
