Controversial American artist, Cardi B, has asserted that she is not an admirer of contention and turmoil, yet these elements continue to pursue her because of her character.

Cardi B, who recently ignited conflict following the announcement of her pregnancy and her impending arrival with her partner, NFL player Stefon Diggs, amidst her current divorce proceedings with her spouse, rapper Offset, stated that she is being pursued by the media.

Nonetheless, she acknowledged that her candid disposition and presence also contribute to the drama and controversies surrounding her.

“I didn’t think I was that much drama. When I was in high school and I was voted most dramatic in my high school yearbook, I was surprised. I don’t like drama, it just follows me. Sometimes, certain things just followed certain people,” Cardi B tells CBS.

“When you have like a big personality like me or when you have a mouth like me or whatever aura that I give, it [drama] will follow you because it makes you like an easier target. I don’t like drama. It stresses me.”
