By Aishat Momoh. O.
The Kwara State Commissioner of Police, CP Victor Ojo, has declared that criminal activities will not be tolerated in the state, following recent security breakthroughs achieved through joint operations.
Ojo, in a statement, said the success recorded was due to effective collaboration between the police, the Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) operatives, the Nigeria Forest Security Service, and local vigilante groups.
“We are determined to maintain security across Kwara. Let it be known that Kwara State will not be a safe haven for criminal elements,” the CP warned.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, added that the suspects arrested during the operations are currently undergoing discreet investigation and will be arraigned in court upon conclusion of the process.
The Commissioner assured residents that security agencies will continue to work together to safeguard lives and property across the state.
