404 RECRUIT CONSTABLES GRADUATE FROM POLICE COLLEGE IKEJA AFTER SIX-MONTH TRAINING

The Lagos State Police Command has congratulated the Police College, Ikeja, on the successful Passing Out Parade (POP) of 404 recruit constables who completed an intensive six-month training programme.

The colourful ceremony, held on Tuesday at the Police College Parade Ground, marked the culmination of rigorous training for recruits drawn from Lagos, Osun, and Ekiti States.

In his address, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, represented by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Adegoke Fayoade, mni, psc, commended the Commandant of the college, AIG Omolara Oloruntola, psc, for her leadership and dedication.

He congratulated the newly graduated constables on their successful completion of training and charged them to uphold the core values of the Nigeria Police Force integrity, diligence, and patriotism as they begin their service to the nation.

The event was graced by the Governor of Lagos State, who was represented by a government delegation; the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Jimoh; and other senior officers and heads of security agencies, including the Nigerian Army, Navy, Air Force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

Also in attendance were prominent traditional rulers across Lagos State and members of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Lagos State Chapter, who commended the police authorities for their commitment to manpower development and community-oriented policing.
