KWAM1 WITHDRAWS SUIT CHALLENGING AWUJALE SELECTION PROCESS

Popular Fuji music artiste, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1), has formally filed a Notice of Discontinuance in the ongoing legal tussle over the vacant stool of the Awujale of Ijebuland.
In the Notice of Discontinuance filed at the High Court of Ogun State, Ijebu-Ode; it read: “TAKE NOTICE that the claimant/Applicant herein wholly; discontinues the-above-suit against the Defendant/Respondent pursuant to Order 23 (or relevant Order) of the High Court of Ogun State [Civll Procedure] Rules 2024 and under the inherent jurisdictian of thls Honourable Court.”
“REASONS FOR DISCONTINUANCE:
The applicant fied this suit following correspondences from the 2nd Respondent herein 2 December, 2025 —which correspondences have been withdrawn
The, Applicant respectfully prays.that-theHonourable Court to record the dlsconttnuunce of this suit and makes orders as it deems fit.”
The reasons that necessitated the withdrawal of the suit by Marshal is yet to be known.
