TOYIN ABRAHAM’S ‘OVERSABI AUNTY’ GROSSES N380M IN 11 DAYS AT BOX OFFICE

The Nollywood film Oversabi Aunty, produced by popular actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham, has recorded a major box office success, grossing over ₦380 million within 11 days of its release in cinemas nationwide.
FilmOne Entertainment, which announced the milestone in a post on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday, described the film’s performance as an “Oversabi box office takeover.”
According to the distributor, Oversabi Aunty had earned a total of ₦382,897,436 as of 3 p.m. on December 29, 2025, with figures still climbing. The film also emerged as the second-highest-grossing movie of the weekend.
FilmOne Entertainment further disclosed that the movie delivered Nollywood’s second-highest opening weekend of 2025, underscoring its strong appeal and widespread acceptance among cinema audiences.
“Oversabi Aunty with an Oversabi box office takeover! World Best for a reason!!! Thank you, West Africa, for showing up big!” the company stated.
The distributor added that audience response to the film has been overwhelming, describing the turnout as “unreal,” while urging movie lovers to continue supporting the production in cinemas across the country.
Oversabi Aunty boasts a star-studded cast that includes Mike Ezuruonye, Efe Irele, Dike Osinachi (Kidbaby), Toyin Abraham, Jemima Osunde, Adebowale Adedayo (Adedamee), and Enioluwa Adeoluwa, among others.
