The Janaza (Islamic funeral) prayer service for Sina Ghami and Abdul Latif Kevin Ayodele, close associates of British-Nigerian boxing star Anthony Joshua, has been scheduled for Sunday, January 4, 2026, in London.

The bodies of Ghami and Ayodele, popularly known as “Latz,” were repatriated to the United Kingdom following the fatal road accident in Nigeria that claimed their lives late last year.

According to a statement released on Saturday by Boxing King Media, the funeral prayers will hold at the London Central Mosque, located at 146 Park Road, London NW8 7RG, and will commence at 10:00 a.m.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones,” the statement read.

Ghami and Ayodele died on Monday, December 29, 2025, in a tragic road crash along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in the Makun area of Ogun State. The accident involved a Lexus SUV conveying Anthony Joshua, which collided with a stationary truck.

While Joshua escaped the crash with minor injuries, Ghami, his strength and conditioning coach, and Ayodele, his personal trainer, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Janaza prayer in London is expected to bring together family members, friends and members of the global boxing community to pay their final respects to the deceased.
