KANO CP DECORATES 695 NEWLY PROMOTED ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENTS

No fewer than 695 police officers in Kano State have been formally decorated following their promotion from the rank of Inspector to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
The decoration ceremonies were held across various formations and departments within the Kano State Police Command.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Police Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa.
According to the statement, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, was represented at the ceremonies by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, Lawal Isah Mani.
Speaking at the event, DCP Mani congratulated the newly promoted officers and reminded them that their elevation comes with increased responsibility, accountability and expectations.
He noted that the promotion was not only a reward for past dedication but also a call to higher standards of leadership, professionalism and integrity in the discharge of their duties.
The officers were urged to remain disciplined, lead by example and continue to serve the people of Kano State with commitment and honesty.
Senior officers, including the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration and the Deputy Commissioner overseeing the State Criminal Investigation Department, were also in attendance at the ceremonies.
