Content creator and social media influencer VeryDarkMan has suggested that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu may be positioning himself for a third term in office, extending beyond the 2027 general elections.

He made the claim in a video shared on his official Instagram page on Monday.

According to VeryDarkMan, “I don’t think President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is solely preparing for the 2027 election. I believe he is also setting his sights on 2030. This campaign is no longer just about 2027—Tinubu wants a third term.”

He cited the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) stronghold in states and the National Assembly as evidence, noting, “With 31 out of 35 governors from APC and most National Assembly members aligned, it seems they only need to manipulate each state in his favor.”

VeryDarkMan argued that these political strategies indicate a broader aim to consolidate power and move toward a one-party system, adding, “Tinubu wants a third term and is pursuing a one-party system.”
