2027: ADELEYE DECLARES FOR IFO/EWEKORO REPS SEAT

The Ogun State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Motunrayo Adeleye, has announced her intention to run for the Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 general elections.

She made this known on Thursday in Ajuwon/Akute Ward 6, located in Ifo Local Government Area, while addressing party leaders and stakeholders.

Adeleye, a former two-term member of the Ogun State House of Assembly, explained that starting her consultations at the ward level reflects her strong ties to grassroots communities.

According to her, the decision to contest stems from a desire to deliver effective representation and foster inclusive development across the constituency.

She noted that the constituency’s dynamic nature requires leadership capable of understanding its challenges and leveraging its strengths for sustainable progress.

Adeleye outlined key priorities of her campaign, including economic empowerment, job creation, and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Emphasising the importance of engagement, she assured constituents of open communication and a governance style that encourages public participation.

She further expressed gratitude to Dapo Abiodun for appointing her as commissioner and for his continued support in her role.
