TEENAGER CHARGED WITH MURDER OVER FATAL SHOOTING OF 14-YEAR-OLD IN LONDON

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder following the fatal shooting of 14-year-old Eghosa Ogbebor in Woolwich, southeast London.
Police said the suspect, from Romford, was initially arrested on April 4 and released on bail before being re-arrested on April 9. He is expected to appear before Thames Magistrates’ Court.
Officers were called to Lord Warwick Street, near the Woolwich Ferry and Woolwich Dockyard railway station, at about 3:40pm on April 2 following reports of gunfire. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The case has seen multiple arrests as investigations continue. The accused was first detained alongside a 19-year-old man on suspicion of murder, while a 46-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. All three were later released on bail.
In a separate development, police confirmed that a 14-year-old boy, a 16-year-old boy, and an 18-year-old man were also arrested in connection with the killing. They have since been bailed pending further inquiries.
On April 10, another 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
Authorities say investigations are ongoing as they work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting.
