NYSC FIXES NEW DATES FOR ENUGU, OSUN ORIENTATION CAMPS

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that prospective corps members posted to Enugu and Osun states will begin their orientation programme on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, and conclude on Monday, May 18, 2026—one week later than the schedule for the other 34 states and the FCT.
In a statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the NYSC explained that the shift in date is due to ongoing extensive renovations at the orientation camps by the respective state governments.
The statement added that, for clarity, the orientation exercise in all other states and the FCT will run from Wednesday, April 22, 2026, to Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
“Affected prospective corps members are advised to take note of the revised dates and comply accordingly.”
The NYSC also wished all prospective corps members a safe trip to their respective states of deployment.
