The Kano State chapter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has postponed its scheduled state congress meant to elect party executives.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by Adam Said Adam, the party’s Director-General of Social Media in Kano State.
In the statement, the State Chairman, Hon. Husaini Isah Mai Riga, explained that the postponement was due to a recent influx of notable political figures joining the party.
He noted that more time is needed to properly integrate the new members and ensure adequate preparations for a smooth and inclusive congress.
Mai Riga added that a new date will be announced once all necessary arrangements have been finalized.
