The Lagos State Government has installed intelligent traffic signal lights at the Admiralty Road by Arobieke intersection as part of efforts to improve traffic flow and ease congestion within the area.
The state government disclosed that the newly deployed AI-powered traffic signals are designed to adjust their timing in real time based on prevailing traffic conditions, thereby reducing waiting time for motorists and enhancing smoother movement for both drivers and pedestrians.
According to the government, the installation forms part of ongoing initiatives aimed at modernising traffic management infrastructure across Lagos and improving road transportation efficiency.
The authorities reaffirmed their commitment to building a modern, efficient and reliable transport system capable of meeting the growing mobility needs of residents across the state.
The project was announced under the state’s ongoing transport infrastructure update campaign tagged *Project Update* by the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation.
