2027: MIYETTI ALLAH THREATENS TO WITHHOLD SUPPORT FOR TINUBU, GIVES REASON

Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a Fulani socio-cultural organisation, has threatened to withdraw its support for the All Progressives Congress in the 2027 elections unless its national president, Bello Bodejo, is released from the custody of the State Security Service.
The group stated its position during a press conference held at Bodejo’s residence in Uke, Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, with Fulani leaders from different parts of the country in attendance.
Speaking at the event, the Nasarawa State Chairman of the organisation, Akhajo Abubakar, said the group would back political leaders who demonstrated genuine commitment to the welfare, development and interests of the Fulani community.
Abubakar said the group’s support for the APC should not be taken for granted, stressing that its members did not vote for the party to see their leaders arrested.
“We did not vote for APC to arrest our leaders. Our votes this time will go to those who want our progress,” he said.
He further claimed that Fulani voters in Nasarawa State numbered more than one million, although he did not provide official figures or evidence to substantiate the claim.
Bodejo is currently facing a money laundering case and remains in custody of the SSS, while a court had previously reduced the bail conditions attached to the case.
The organisation’s position could add a new dimension to political calculations ahead of the 2027 general elections, particularly as political groups continue to mobilise support across different regions and communities.
