USYK RUSHED TO HOSPITAL AFTER DEFEATING TYSON FURY
Oleksandr Usyk was rushed to hospital following his split decision victory over Tyson Fury.
After the fight, Fury claimed he broke the Ukrainian’s jaw.
Despite Usyk’s win, it was the British boxer who seemingly inflicted the greater damage.
Usyk did not show up for his post-fight press conference, as he needed his injuries attended to.
Speaking after the fight, Fury said: “We just had a fight. Have you seen my face?
“It’s pretty busted up and he’s just gone to the hospital with a broken jaw and he’s busted too.
“We’ve punched the f*** out of each other for 12 rounds there.”
But the scorecards read 115-112, 113-114, 114-113 in favour of Usyk after the 12th round.
Usyk has now added the WBC title to his WBA, IBF and WBO belts.
