BREAKING: LAWMAKERS APPROVE $516 MILLION LOAN REQUEST BY PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU

The House of Representatives has approved a request by Bola Ahmed Tinubu to secure a $516,333,007 foreign loan.
The funding is intended to support the construction of sections of the Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway.
The approval was granted during Tuesday’s plenary following the presentation of a report by Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Aids, Loans and Debt Management, Abdullahi Rasheed.
Earlier reports stated that President Tinubu sought approval for the fresh $516.3 million loan from Deutsche Bank to finance the road project.
