BREAKING: PETER OBI HOLDS CLOSED-DOOR MEETING WITH GOV MAKINDE

The 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is currently in a closed-door meeting with Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.
The meeting is taking place at the Oyo State Government House.
Obi is accompanied by Igbo elders, some South-East senators under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), as well as close political associates.
Although he has not yet spoken to the press, the meeting is believed to be linked to his ongoing political consultations ahead of his presidential ambition.
The development comes less than 24 hours after Obi met with former President Goodluck Jonathan.
He has continued consultations with political leaders across the country ahead of the ADC primary election.
