
NIGERIAN FORWARD DIES IN AUTO CRASH IN CYPRUS
Nigerian forward, Paul Julius has died in a car accident in Cyprus.
The 20-year-old’s car was involved in a head-to-head collision with another car on the Paralimni-Protaras road.
Julius linked up with Cypriot club, Enosis Neon Paralimniou three weeks ago.
The young striker joined the club from the Egyptian side, El Gaish.
Enosis Neon Paralimniou announced his demise on their official website.
They expressed sadness over his unfortunate demise
“It is with deep sadness and pain that we express our sincere condolences on the unexpected loss of our footballer Paul Julius,” a club statement said.
“The tragic news of his death has shocked us all. Despite the hardships and sufferings he faced to join our family, he remained steadfast and determined to fulfill his goals.
“His memory will live on in our minds and his absence will be felt.
“We are with his family and his loved ones during this difficult time.
“May he rest in peace.”
