Nigerian musician Adekunle Gold has lamented the nation’s terrible economic situation.

P-Square’s 2009 hit song, “E No Easy,” which discusses life’s challenges in the face of financial adversity, should have been performed this year, according to Adekunle Gold, who lamented the status of the economy.

In one of the verses, he noted, he would have used the opportunity to vent his personal emotions about the state of the economy if the song had been published this year.

On his Snapchat page, Gold wrote, “Na this year Psquare suppose sing ‘E No Easy’. Make them feature me, make I express my feelings for verse 3.”

‘E No Easy’ was released off P-Square’s ‘Danger’ album in 2009. It featured producer J. Martins.

It was revived as a bilingual French/English song “Positif”, by Matt Houston featuring P-Square in 2012, becoming a hit in France.
