#ONDODECIDES2024: DSS NABS VOTE-BUYER WITH TWO BAGS OF MONEY
The Department of State Services, or DSS, has detained a suspected vote-buyer in the current Ondo State gubernatorial election.
Using two bags of cash that were thought to be intended to influence voters, the accused vote-buyer was captured.
On election day, at approximately 9:00 am, he was taken into custody at Ward 4, Polling Unit 007, which is located outside St. Stephen’s Primary School in Akure, Ondo State.
In Obenla, Ilaje LGA, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa cast his ballot at Polling Unit 6, Ward 4.
Aiyedatiwa is running against 16 other candidates from various political parties, including Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to keep the governorship seat in the off-cycle election.
