NSCDC DEPLOYS 1,600 PERSONNEL FOR CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR FESTIVITIES IN ADAMAWA
The Adamawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has assigned 1,600 personnel to ensure security during the upcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations.
“In preparation for the upcoming yuletide celebrations, Adamawa State Command has heightened its level of preparedness to ensure the safety and security of all citizens,” the command said.
The statement, signed by the state command PRO, Nyako Baba, said the deployment was with a keen focus on protecting critical national assets and infrastructure, as well as securing public spaces such as event centers, markets, and places of worship.
“The Command is determined to guarantee a peaceful and joyous festive season,” the PRO stated.
He added that the Command had deployed strategic measures across all the 21 local government areas of the state to foster a secure environment where residents can celebrate without fear.
“In addition to its internal arrangements, the NSCDC is working closely with sister security agencies in a synergized approach to strengthen the state’s overall security framework,” he added.
