
MOTHER, TWO CHILDREN DIE IN ONDO FIRE TRAGEDY
A middle-aged woman and her two children have been burnt to death in a devastating fire in Ondo city, the headquarters of Ondo West Local Government Area of the state.
The incident was said to have occurred on Sunday night at their residence located at Rainbow Street, Lipakala Junction, near Adeyemi Road, in the ancient city.
According to a family source, who pleaded to remain anonymous, the victims were burnt beyond recognition.
He added that the fire which destroyed the entire building lasted for several hours.
Confirming the incident, the Spokesperson of Ondo State Police Command, CSP Funmilayo Odunlami, described it as unfortunate, stating that the remains of the victims have been deposited at the morgue in a hospital in the city.
