Okada Riders Welfare Association Agitates For Fair Treatment From Lagos State Government
Nigerian youth under the umbrella of jobless graduate coalition, had thrown their weight behind the okada riders welfare association to agitate for fair treatment from Lagos state government.
The president of the organization Comrade Seun Balogun in his address to the press after their Congress in Ikorodu, bemoans the Lagos state government for being adamant to lift ban on okada riding in Agiliti area of Lagos state.
He however stated that, over 70% of those that were affected are students of different tertiary institution and jobless graduate who resulted to okada riding due to laxity on the part of government. He however promise that his association of about 5 million youth spread across Nigeria, will pay solidarity visit to the Lagos state government house very soon, if the governor persist in his decision to remove food from the table of the Nigerian youths.
