Davido, the well-known artist from Nigeria, has promised to keep Tiwa Savage safe.
This was said by Davido a year after Tiwa Savage petitioned him for reportedly threatening to kill her.
After Tiwa Savage posted a picture of herself with Davido’s first baby mom, Sophia Momodu, on social media in January 2024, the two singers began corresponding.
Teebillz, the ex-husband of Tiwa Savage, responded to Davido’s purported threat by threatening to discipline Davido.
Nevertheless, Davido promised the audience that nothing would happen to her when discussing the event in an interview with Breakfast Club.
He called Savage his “sister for life” and promised to do all in his power to keep her safe.

“We used to stay in the same house. The situation with Tiwa Savage was personal because she was a good friend to Sophia.
“Tiwa Savage is my sister for life, but she changed the game for females. We are family, and I love her and her child. It’s just like a brother and sister fight. She did reach out. I will never allow anything to happen to her.”
