ROTARY CLUB OF IKORODU GOLDEN COMMISSIONS SEVEN-CLASSROOM BLOCK FOR STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

The Rotary Club of Ikorodu Golden, District 9112, will officially commission a refurbished block of seven classrooms designed for students with special needs on Friday, May 9, 2025. The event will take place at LG Primary School (Special), Ipakodo, Ikorodu, Lagos.

In a press statement issued by the President of Ikorodu Golden, Rotarian Capt’ Abolanle Balogun stated that, “The commissioning of these seven classrooms aims to transform education by providing the Special Need Students with a better, more conducive learning environment that fosters effective learning”

Rotarian Balogun added that, “Subsequent to the commissioning of the new classrooms, there will be an induction ceremony for new members, with our District Governor, Rotarian Olufemi Adenekan, in attendance to commemorate this significant occasion”

In his words “This initiative is a significant step toward to our club in enhancing educational facilities, ensuring that these Special Need Students have the resources and atmosphere they need to thrive academically”

This event promises to be a grand celebration of leadership and commitment to advancing education within our community.
