Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, and the incumbent Governor, Ahmed Ododo, on Sunday paid a courtesy visit to former Governor, Capt. Idris Wada, at his residence in Lokoja, where they held discussions on strengthening unity and driving the state’s development.
According to a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, the leaders engaged in “productive talks” centered on economic growth and the need for greater cohesion among Kogi’s political leadership.
Wada, who warmly received the visitors, described the meeting as a gesture of respect and honour. He pledged his full support for Governor Ododo’s administration, stressing that unity among leaders was vital to sustaining peace and accelerating the state’s progress.
“I want to assure my unalloyed support for the administration of Ododo, because unity among leaders is crucial to the peace and progress of the state,” Wada said.
