Errol Musk, the progenitor of technology magnate Elon Musk, has been accused by five of his offspring and stepchildren of sexual misconduct extending over several decades, as reported by the New York Times on Tuesday.

The publication states that the initial allegation dates back to 1993, when a four-year-old stepdaughter informed relatives that Errol Musk had inappropriately touched her at the family residence.

The Times further indicated that the same individual later confided to relatives that she had witnessed him sniffing her soiled undergarments. Additional relatives mentioned in the article accused Errol Musk of mistreating two daughters and a stepson.

Referencing court documents, social-work notes, correspondence, and interviews, the newspaper reported that Errol, who has at least nine children and stepchildren and has been wed to three women, “maintains a powerful grip over much of the family” Two investigations allegedly concluded without charges; the status of a third inquiry was not clarified in the report.

Errol Musk repudiated the accusations, labeling them as “nonsense” and “false,” and insinuated that certain family members were being guided to make assertions in a bid to extort his eldest son, as indicated by the publication.

“There was no evidence because this is nonsense. The reports are false,” Musk stated.

He accused relatives who were “putting the children up to say false things” and claimed they were attempting to extort Elon, his eldest son.

Elon did not offer any remarks for the Times article.

Nonetheless, the Tesla and SpaceX chief executive has previously addressed the challenging relationship he has with Errol.

He revealed to Rolling Stone in 2017 that his father had committed “almost every evil thing you could possibly think of.”

Musk recounted moving in with his father at the age of 10 while his younger siblings, Kimbal and Tosca, remained with their mother.

“I felt sorry for my father, because my mother had all three kids. He seemed very sad and lonely by himself. So I thought, ‘I can be company,’” he shared.

He added, ““I didn’t really understand at the time what kind of person he was … It was not a good idea.”

Without providing detailed information, he remarked to the publication, “My dad will have a carefully thought-out plan of evil. He will plan evil.”
