…Actress Breaks Down in Viral Video Amid Family, Marital Turmoil

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arraigned Samuel Ojeogwu, brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, before a court in Abuja over alleged criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, and theft.

FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the development in a statement on Friday, saying the charges followed a petition lodged with the Metro Area Command on October 28, 2025, against Ojeogwu and three others.

“On 28th October 2025, the FCT Metro Area Command received a petition against one Mr. Samuel Ojeogwu and three others, alleging criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, criminal intimidation, theft, and cyberbullying,” Adeh said.

She added that Ojeogwu ignored several police invitations before he was eventually arrested in Lagos on the strength of a court-issued warrant and taken to Abuja for interrogation.

“Upon receipt of the petition, several invitations were extended to Mr. Samuel Ojeogwu by the Metro Area Command for questioning, which were not honoured. Mr. Ojeogwu was arrested in Lagos on the authority of a duly issued arrest warrant from a competent court and subsequently conveyed to Abuja for further investigation,” Adeh stated.

After investigations, the suspect was charged before a competent court in Abuja on November 6, 2025, and remanded pending the fulfilment of his bail conditions.

“The suspect was on the 6th of November 2025 charged in court for offences bordering on criminal conspiracy, criminal trespass, assault, criminal intimidation, and theft. He has been remanded by the court pending the fulfilment of his bail conditions,” the statement added.

Adeh reaffirmed the command’s commitment to due process and professionalism, saying, “The FCT Police Command remains committed to professional policing, due process, and the rule of law.”

The development has deepened ongoing family tensions surrounding Regina Daniels, who recently appeared in a viral video weeping over her brother’s detention.

In the emotional clip, the actress repeatedly said, “I will go back,” while lamenting her family’s struggles.

The outburst came amid reports of marital troubles between Regina and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, whom she had earlier accused of domestic violence in a social media post.

Nwoko denied the allegations, alleging instead that Regina was battling substance abuse and needed rehabilitation a claim that has sparked mixed reactions online.

Despite the controversies, Regina recently announced a glimmer of hope in her family, revealing that her estranged parents had reconciled after years apart a reunion she described as a source of strength amid her personal and family crisis.
