The Chairman and CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has congratulated Gozy Ijogun, Founder and CEO of Task Systems Ltd, after the Nigerian-founded tech company clinched the prestigious 2025 Microsoft Partner of the Year Award in the United States.
In a statement, Dabiri-Erewa praised Mrs. Ijogun and her team for “making Nigeria proud once again,” describing the accolade as a strong endorsement of Nigerian innovation, entrepreneurial excellence, and global competitiveness.
“Winning a Microsoft Partner of the Year Award on American soil is a major victory for our nation and an inspiration to millions of young Nigerians in the tech space,” she said. “Achievements like this shift narratives and highlight the extraordinary talent Nigerians bring to the world stage.”
Mrs. Ijogun, an alumna of Loyola Jesuit College, Abuja, holds a First Class degree in Computer Science from University College London and has completed advanced certifications and executive training at leading global institutions. She later returned to Nigeria to lead Task Systems.
The award honours Task Systems Limited for its exceptional innovation, customer impact, and leadership in delivering transformative Microsoft solutions from its U.S. operations, all while proudly retaining its strong Nigerian identity.
