Egret Media closed the year on a celebratory note as it convened women from different walks of life for the 2025 edition of the ‘Egret Girls Brunch and Awards’, held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The gathering drew together business owners, professionals, creatives and innovators popularly known as Egret Girls—women who are members of the Egret Learning Hub Business Community and participants of the Com4Growth End-of-Year Business Bootcamp.
Conceived as a space for connection and recognition, the Egret Girls Brunch and Awards has grown into a platform that encourages collaboration, mentorship and shared learning among women, while strengthening bonds within the Egret community.
Speaking at the gathering, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Egret Media, Coach Mutiat Olagoke, expressed gratitude to God for guidance, protection and sustained growth, noting that divine support has been central to the organisation’s journey.
She also appreciated members, partners and supporters who have consistently contributed to the development of the community, acknowledging their commitment and belief in the organisation’s vision.
Reflecting on the year 2025, Olagoke spoke on the challenges encountered during the period, describing it as a time that tested resilience and adaptability.
She noted that despite the hurdles, the experiences fostered learning, growth and renewed strength within the community.
The Egret Girls Brunch, she said, provides a platform that unites women leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals from different sectors to network, exchange ideas and inspire one another towards greater achievements.
The event featured engaging conversations centred on personal development, entrepreneurship and business growth, with participants reflecting on the role of the Egret Learning Hub Business Community in building meaningful connections and supporting sustainable ventures.
Attendees also enjoyed entertainment, interactive games, networking opportunities and special moments that celebrated the journey and milestones of the community.
