FCT ELECTIONS: INEC PUBLISHES CHAIRMANSHIP OUTCOMES ON IREV PLATFORM

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun uploading the results of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council chairmanship elections onto its Result Viewing (IReV) portal.
The elections, held on Saturday, featured 68 elective positions, including six chairmanship posts and 62 councillorship seats.
As of 7:35 pm, monitoring of the portal by our correspondent showed that 847 results have been uploaded from the 1,401 polling units in Abuja Municipal Area Council. In other councils, Kwali has 75 results uploaded from 201 polling units, Kuje has 115 out of 262, and Gwagwalada has 204 out of 338.
Bwari Area Council recorded 255 results uploaded from 485 units, while Abaji has 42 out of 135 results posted.
