LAGOS ASSEMBLY CONFIRMS ADELABU AS LASPA GM FOLLOWING EARLIER REJECTION

Members of the Lagos State House of Assembly have approved the appointment of Mrs. Adebisi Adelabu as General Manager of the Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA).
The confirmation was announced during plenary on Monday.

The media reports that Adelabu’s approval follows an earlier rejection by the lawmakers a few weeks ago over alleged irregularities. After months of legislative review, her appointment has now been ratified.
Speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa, who presided over the session, stated that the confirmation was in accordance with Section 92 of the Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law, 2018, noting that the Assembly had deemed her fit for the role.
