Mohammad Mokhber, a senior aide to the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stated that Iran has no plans to engage in negotiations with the United States.
Speaking to State TV on Wednesday, Mokhber emphasized that Iran is prepared to sustain its involvement in Middle East conflicts for as long as necessary.
He added that Iran has no trust in the United States and sees no grounds for entering into negotiations with the country.
“We will not go into any negotiation with the US. The Americans cannot be trusted. We can continue the war as long as we want,” he said.

According to Iran’s official news agency IRNA, citing the Islamic Development Coordination Council, “Starting at 10:00 p.m. (1830 GMT), the public will have the opportunity to pay their final respects to the martyred national leader at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Grand Mosque.”
Media reports stated that Khamenei, who was 86 at the time of his death, will be buried in his hometown of Mashhad in northeastern Iran.
