AKPOTI-UDUAGHAN VALIDATES PDP MEMBERSHIP, URGES YOUTHS TO REGISTER
The senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has officially validated her membership of the Peoples Democratic Party, calling on Nigerians—particularly youths and party faithful—to follow suit in a bid to strengthen the opposition platform.
Akpoti-Uduaghan made this known on Tuesday via her verified social media platforms, confirming that she completed her membership validation through the party’s electronic registration portal.
She reiterated that the PDP remains Nigeria’s strongest opposition party and requires active participation from members across the country to deepen democratic engagement and promote inclusiveness.
“The domain for PDP e-registration, pdpnigeria.org, is now secure. I have validated my membership, do yours too. Register now. It is simple and easy,” she said.
Her call comes amid renewed efforts by the party to reposition itself following internal challenges and electoral setbacks, particularly in the 2023 general elections, where it lost the presidency but retained a significant presence in the National Assembly and several states.
The lawmaker urged Nigerians, especially young people, to take advantage of the digital registration process to formally identify with the party and contribute to shaping the nation’s political future.
She added that her action aligns with ongoing initiatives by the PDP leadership to digitise its membership database and revitalise grassroots participation ahead of upcoming political activities, including ward, local government and state congresses.
