Inter Lagos have earned promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) for the first time in their history.
The club confirmed their ascent after a 1-1 draw against Smart City on Monday, a result that was enough to secure their place in the top tier.

Currently leading the Nigeria National League (NNL) Conference A with 29 points from 15 matches, Inter Lagos become the second team this season to secure promotion, following Doma United.
The milestone marks a historic first NPFL appearance for the club. Meanwhile, two more promotion spots remain up for grabs in the NNL as the competition for top-flight qualification continues.
